Raw Message Sorry to intrude. Does anyone know a newsgroup where I can discuss Punch Home Design Software?
If this is it, here goes. I bought Punch Home Design software, for designing house plans for myself.
It includes many 3D objects in the form of.POB files which I can add to my design, such as tables, sofas, chairs, etc. Despite this, there are many more objects that I would like to add to my design. The software does come with a 3D Custom workshop where I can design my own objects but it appears very limited.
I can't imagine desiging an exercise bike with it. The software is also able to import 3DS files but I don't know anything about this. My ultimate question is this: Can I download other objects from the Internet? Sorry to intrude. Does anyone know a newsgroup where I can discuss Punch Home Design Software? If this is it, here goes. Raw Message Thanks for that information, greatly appreciated. I wasn't able to find that toaster I wanted for my kitchen, but I did find an upright piano! Most of the 3ds files are part of a zip file which also contains an image file such as tga or jpg. The image file contains all kinds of pics of the object.
I'm able to import a 3ds file into my 'Punch' software, but it's just plain - no colors. Tilesets 2d Games here. It's like I'm supposed to copy and paste the various pics from the image file onto it, but I don't know how. In any case, I found several 3ds files on the Internet though most of them are for sale; some appear more expensive than the real items.
