Yes, you can buy dollars to speed things up, but unlike some games that offer in-game purchases, this one does not require you to buy the dollars to gain them. You can complete challenges to gain dollars. It takes longer.

In some cases, it takes A LOT longer to get to your goals than if you bought your way to them, but this isn't a time management game in the sense of urgency.
