Interactual Player For Windows 7
I posted a question on Feb 22, 2012 about Windows Media Player stopping playing CDS.DVDS after doing so. I have never received a response by e-mail from the Windows Forum or Tech Support about the problem.
On my own I discover that the Windows 7 Media Player has a conflict with Interactual Technologies' IT or vice versa, Interactual Player 2.0 ahs a problem with Windows. IT won't fix the problem (no patch or fix), Windows won't do so either and resolutely ignores the problem and questions about how to fix it. Meep Tablet Ota Downloading. Something about codecs nbot being recognized by either of these incompatible software program.
I do understand that I cannot uninstall Medial Player because it support Windows Media Center. I would like to keep the Windows component, but understand that Interactual Player is embedded in just about every commercial CD/DVD on the market.
So what to do? And no, I do not have a hardware or driver problem, Device Manager checks out fine. So, my next question to the Forum and Tech Support is; if Windows does not care enough about the brand to support Windows Media Player and by implication Windows Media Center, how can I get rid of Windows Medial Player and Windows Media Center and go to another media player that does work, something like Cyberlink or Roxio, without futzing up Windows 7?
